| Children's hand painted folk art pine bench and signed by E. Dean; originated from New Brunswick, Canada, sold to an antique dealer in Ontario, bought 30+ years ago by last owners. Bench depicts children playing tug-of-war. Measures 10.5" (20.7 cm) high, 34.5" (88 cm) long x 9.5" (24.25 cm) wide. All original paint, not retouched. Antique condition, with normal small dents from use, a little paint loss and a small break of wood at the right-hand corner of bench, none of it detracting from this wonderful one-of-a-kind piece of art dating approx. last quarter of the 19th century. | ||||||||||||
