Carlton Ware sauce or gravy boat, made in England circa 1920's.
The sauce boat has been molded in a leaf like pattern with a butter cup flower for its handle. It has been colored a soft, buttery yellow with touches of green and brown.
Measurements: 5 3/8 inches long and 1 7/8 inches high, approximately 2 ½ inches wide. Condition: Excellent, no chips, breaks, hairlines, only fine normal crazing No marking as bottom is unglazed; however, definitely Carlton Ware, England in the Buttercup pattern. |
