GS Walters Original Seascape Watercolor Painting c1886
George Stanfield Walters (G.S. Walters) - Liverpool, England (listed British artist)

Framed original watercolor signed by artist displaying his popular seascape of the low countries (Netherlands) circa 1886.

This original watercolor is in excellent condition and looks as if it is in its original frame. The frame is in very good condition with a couple of scuffs on the side and front of the frame and a couple of scuffed corners displaying the white alabaster under the gold lacquered paint. All can be repaired and this is only noticeable upon close inspection. All in all, both the painting and the frame are in super condition. The antique frame is encased with a wooden backing. Very attractive and the coloring goes extremely well with G.S. Walters' watercolor.

Print Measurements: 19 1/2" by 12" approx (49 cm x 30 cm)

Frame Measurements: 28 3/4" by 23 1/4" approx (73 cm x 59 cm)

Photos: What looks like the sun in the photos is actually the camera flash. This painting is much more beautiful than any of my photos.
