Vase in opalescent lattimo with blades of whirling amethyst, all held sommerso within a layer of crystal clear glass, and four applied, tool-worked crystal attachments, one at each 'corner', running from the base to within 3/4-inch of the top rim. Smooth, polished pontil; normal, expected, and age-confirming wear to the base. Italian, Murano, mid-20th century, possibly by Seguso Measurements: 11 1/8 inches tall Condition: Excellent Condition - no damage Wonderful vase with unique rectangular shape flared at the bottom. |
