Adorable vintage set of 6 small ironstone coffee/tea mugs and saucers, as well as open sugar and cream jug, made by J&G Meakin Studio, England circa 1960's. The mugs, sugar dish and cream jug are beautifully decorated in apples and onions in burnt orange and green (back of each item has a design as well), while the saucers contrast in bright solid burnt orange. Two (2) small vases made by Carlton Ware, England, in the Rouge Royale collection. Each vase is decorated with gold handles, one measuring 3.5" (9 cm) and the other 4" (10 cm). In very good condition, with all gold intact; a couple of minor surface scratches on the side of the taller vase and a small scratch near the base of the shorter flared vase; neither apparent unless looking for them and even then, very slight. This is a wonderful jug made by Burleigh Ware, England circa 1940. It is a reproduction of the 'Old Feeding Time' jug made by Samuel Alcock 100 Years ago (100 years as of the 1940's era).
